So we decided to go ahead with the pool & deck/patio renovation. This began around the beginning of May 2019.
The process draining the pool, removing the existing coping & deck/patio, and plastering the pool. We also needed to have the surface of the pool water blasted because the pool is Gunite & was painted several years ago.
Unfortunately, the company that did the water blasting didn’t cover the heads of the caretaker system & destroyed them. And the pool then failed a pressure test (the pipes were all original). So we had the caretakers removed & put in a more conventional system.
